Bitumen Penetration 30/45
DESCRIPTION OF BITUMEN 30/45
Bitumen Penetration 30/45 is a standard penetration that usually used as a Paving Grade Bitumen suitable for road construction and for the production of asphalt pavements with superior properties. This grade of Bitumen is mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases and wearing courses. Penetration Grade Bitumen supplied by our company is petroleum grade bitumen, manufactured from fractional / vacuum distillation of crude oil. The Bitumen supplied by our company is produced from vacuum residue (short residue) feedstock. Penetration Grade bitumens are specified by the penetration and softening point test. The designation is by penetration range only. The penetration grade Bitumens have a thermoplastic property which causes the material to soften at high temperatures and to harden at lower temperatures. This unique temperature/ viscosity relationship is important when determining the performance parameters such as the adhesion, rheology, durability and application temperatures of bitumen.
PROPERTIES OF ASPHALT 30/45
This grade of penetration supplied by our company is pure petroleum grade bitumen, manufactured from vacuum bottom by passing hot air. The bitumen supplied by our company is produced from remain of crude oil after cracking and removing hydrocarbon. Bitumen Penetration 30/45 has penetration between 30~45 desi-millimeter and the softening point between 52~ 60 C. The Bitumen Penetration 30/45 has a thermoplastic property which is like synthetic resin material which gets softer with heating and hardens when cooled. Penetration grade Bitumens are specified by the penetration and softening point test. The temperature-vs-stiffness relationship of bitumen is dependent on the source of crude oil and the method of refining. Bitumen penetration 30/45 is hard penetration grade bitumen using as paving grade bitumen suitable for road construction and repair also for the production of asphalt pavements with below technical specifications.
APPLICATION OF BITUMEN 30/45
The 30/45 is a semi-hard penetration grade, with penetration between 30 and 45. Which is mostly used in road construction, asphalt pavement, and manufacturer of hot-mix asphalt. The penetration bituminous asphalt with high penetration numbers which are soft, mostly used in cold weather conditions and hard bituminous asphalt (low penetration number) can be used for warm weather conditions.
GURANTY AND SAFETY OF BITUMEN 30/45
Our company guaranty the quality of Bitumen Penetration 30/45 with the arrangement of the international inspectors to check the quality and quantity of the penetration grade 30-45 during the loading to the vessel and controlling the production by QC by batch test report before shipping. Our company guarantees that the Bitumen Penetration 30/45 is produced in compliance and conformity to International of European Standard DIN EN 12591:99, also meets the requirements of the following specification.
